The Biggest Loser is one of my favorite all time shows. The reason why is because I once weighed 348. Losing 76 pounds would be amazing for anyone. But not when I once lost 120 pounds. I admit, with all that is going on, I am deeply depressed. How I handle stress and depression is by food. I have gained 52 pounds since my mountain biking accident last summer. I look horrible and most importantly I feel horrible. I decided to participate in my own Biggest Loser, right along with the show. This season is about second chances. I was a former athlete. Playing hockey for 17 years and football through college. Heck, I have finished 42 multisport races and 7 half marathons. Even with a horrid year, I finished a half marathon and 5 multisport races this year.
Anyways, I weighed myself last week.
Starting Weight 272
Week 1 weight 266
Week 1 Weight Loss: 6 pounds
Percentage of weight loss 2.2%
If I was on the show, surprisingly I survived the weigh in. There was three contestants that had a lower percentage of weigh loss than me.
